أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ السُّوسِيُّ، نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّوَّافُ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَكَمٍ، نا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ،
قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَقْبَلَ رَجُلٌ، فَلَمَّا رَآهُ الْقَوْمُ أَثْنَوْا عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " إِنِّي لَأَرَى عَلَى وَجْهِهِ سَفْعَةً مِنَ النَّارِ "، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ وَجَلَسَ، قَالَ: " أَنْشُدُكَ بِاللهِ، أَجِئْتَ وَأَنْتَ تَرَى أَنَّكَ أَفْضَلُ الْقَوْمِ؟ "، قَالَ: نَعَمْ
