قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ، نا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، نا الْعُلَا
بِإِسْنَادِهِ نَحْوَهُ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " بِالْعَفْوِ إِلَّا عِزًّا، وَمَا تَوَاضَعَ أَحَدٌ لِلَّهِ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللهُ " أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، مِنْ حَدِيثِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ
