أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أنا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، نا الْحُسَيْنُ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، نا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، نا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ،
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " الْمُؤْمِنُونَ هَيِّنُونَ لَيِّنُونَ كَالْجَمَلِ الْأَنِفِ، إِنْ قِيدَ انْقَادَ، وَإِنْ أُنِيخَ اسْتَنَاخَ عَلَى صَخْرَةٍ " هَذَا مُرْسَلٌ [الأنف على وزن فعل، وهو الذي عقره الخطام بخشاش أو برة فهو لا يمتنع على قائده لأنه يشكي أنفه، وكان ينغي أن يقال: مأنوف لأنه فعل به ذلك، لكنه جاء هكذا إسنادا]

He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The believers are gentle and easygoing, like the docile camel (al-jamal al-anif): if it is led, it follows, and if it is made to kneel, it kneels on a rock."
