أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مَرْوَزَيْهِ الْفَارِسِيُّ، أنا حَامِدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ النَّصِيبِيُّ، نا الْأَصْمَعِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ،
يَقُولُ: " إِنَّهُ لَيُعْجِبُنِي مِنَ الْقُرَّاءِ كُلُّ طَلْقٍ مِضْحَاكٍ، فَأَمَّا مَنْ تَلْقَاهُ بِالْبَشْرِ، وَيَلْقَاكَ بِالْعُبُوسِ كَأَنْهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكَ بِعَمَلِهِ، فَلَا أَكْثَرَ اللهُ فِي الْقُرَّآءِ مِثْلَهُ "
