حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ، إِمْلَاءً، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ، أنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّعْرَانِيُّ، نا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ،
قَالَ: لَقِيتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَبَادَرْتُ فَأَخَذْتُ بِيَدِهِ - أَوْ فَبَادَرَنِي فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي - فَقَالَ لِي: " يَا عُقْبَةُ، أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِأَفْضَلِ أَخْلَاقِ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ؟ تَصِلُ مَنْ قَطَعَكَ، وَتُعْطِي مَنْ حَرَمَكَ، وَتَعْفُو عَمَّنْ ظَلَمَكَ، أَلَا وَمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُمَدَّ لَهُ فِي عُمُرِهِ، وَيُوَسَّعَ لَهُ رِزْقُهُ فَلْيَصِلْ ذَا رَحِمٍ مِنْهُ "
