أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، نا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، نا أَبُو مُوسَى، وَأنا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَا: نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، نا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْعُلَا بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،
أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ لِي قَرَابَةً أَصِلُهُمْ وَيَقْطَعُونِي، وَأُحْسِنُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَيُسِيئُونَ إِلَيَّ، وَأَحْلُمُ عَنْهُمْ وَيَجْهَلُونَ عَلَيَّ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " إِنْ كَانَ كَمَا تَقُولُ فَكَأَنَّمَا تُسِفُّهُمُ الْمَلَّ، وَلَا يَزَالُ مَعَكَ مِنَ اللهِ ظَهِيرٌ مَا دُمْتَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ "
