أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ، أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بِشْرٍ، نا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ،
قَالَ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ: " بَاتَ عُمَرُ أَخُوهُ يُصَلِّي، وَبِتُّ أَغْمُرُ رِجْلَ أُمِّي، وَأُحِبُّ أَنَّ لَيْلَتِي بِلَيْلَتِهِ "
