أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ،
فَذَكَرَهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، وَقَالَ فِيهِ: فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: إِنَّ أَبَا هَذَا كَانَ وُدًّا لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ
