أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ، أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، نا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، نا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، نا حَمَّادٌ، نا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو،
أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، جِئْتُ أُبَايِعُكَ، وَتَرَكْتُ أَبَوَايَ يَبْكِيَانِ، قَالَ: " ارْجِعْ فَأَضْحِكْهُمَا كَمَا أَبْكَيْتَهُمَا "
