أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ، أنا أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ السَّمَّاكِ، نا حَنْبَلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، نا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مُرْدَانِيَّةَ، عَنْ رَقَبَةَ بْنِ مَسْقَلَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى
قَالَ: " يُعْجِبُنِي أَنْ أَرَى قَفَا الشَّابِّ أَحْسِبُهُ شَيْخًا، فَإِذَا هُوَ شَابٌّ، وَأَبْغَضُ أَنْ أَرَى قَفَا الشَّيْخِ أَحْسِبُهُ شَابًّا، فَإِذَا هُوَ شَيْخٌ "
