أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، أنا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، نا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " إِنَّ اللهَ حَيِيٌّ سِتِّيرٌ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ فَلْيَتَوَارَ بِشَيْءٍ "

وَرَوَاهُ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ فَزَادَ فِيهِ: " يُحِبُّ الْحَيَاءَ وَالسِّتْرَ "، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ أَرْسَلَهُ فَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي إِسْنَادِهِ صَفْوَانَ بْنَ يَعْلَى، وَرَوَاهُ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، فَأَغْفَلَهُ فَلَمْ يَذْكُرْهُمَا فِيهِ
