" أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُؤَمَّلِيُّ، حدثنا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حدثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، أخبرنا يَعْلَى بْنٌ عُبَيْدٍ، حدثنا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ
قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا مُعَاذٌ فَذَكَرَهُ. " وَفِي هَذَا الحديث أَنَّهُ يُخَاطِبُ الْجَمَاعَةَ بِذَلِكَ، وَلَمْ يُعَيِّنْ بِهِ شَخْصًا، وَقَدْ رَجَعَ فِي آخِرِ الْحَدِيثِ إِلَى الِاسْتِثْنَاءِ فِي دُخُولِ الْجَنَّةِ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي لَأَطْمَعُ "
