حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، أنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا الْأَدِيبُ، نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْقَبَّانِيُّ، نا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ وَاسْمُهُ يَسَارٌ وَهُوَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، وَابْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ يُكْنَى أَبَا يَسَارٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ،
أَنَّ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ تَنَاوَلَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ فِيهِ، فَقَالُوا: أَغْضَبْتَ الْأَمِيرَ؟ فَقَالَ خَالِدٌ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: " أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا لِلنَّاسِ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا عِنْدَ اللهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ "
