أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُؤَمَّلِ، أنا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَصْرِيُّ، نا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ، نا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ الرَّبَعِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى بْنِ مُوسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، أَنَّ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنَ رَافِعٍ، مَوْلَى الْمُزَنِيِّينَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَسْلَمَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَسْلَمَ أَخْبَرَهُ
أَنَّهُ، خَرَجَ مَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ حَتَّى قَدِمَ عَلَى أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْجَرَّاحِ وَهُوَ بِبَابِ الْجَابِيَةِ، فَقَالَ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ: يَا أَسْلَمُ هَلِ اسْتَعْمَلَكَ عُمَرُ مِنْ مَوَالِيهِ وَأَهْلِهِ؟ فَقُلْتُ: لَا، قَالَ: فَأَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: " لَا تَسُبُّوا السُّلْطَانَ، فَإِنَّهُمْ ظِلُّ اللهِ فِي أَرْضِهِ "
