أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ، أَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ، نا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي الدُّنْيَا، نا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، نا سَيَّارٌ، نا جَعْفَرٌ، نا مَالِكُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ مَعْبَدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَوَّامِ، سَاكِنِ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ
قَالَ: " أَصَابَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ذَنْبًا، فَحَزِنَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ يَذْهَبُ وَيَجِيءُ وَيَقُولُ: بِمَ أُرْضِي رَبِّي؟ قَالَ: فَكُتِبَ صِدِّيقًا "
