أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ الْفَارِسِيُّ، قَالَا: أَنَا أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ مَطَرٍ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، نا يَحْيَى، أَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْإِفْرِيقِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ،
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، قَالَ: " إِنَّ أَحْسَنَ أَوْلِيَائِي عِنْدِي مَنْزِلَةً رَجُلٌ ذُو حَظٍّ مِنْ صَلَاةٍ أَحْسَنَ عِبَادَةَ رَبِّهِ فِي السِّرِّ وَكَانَ غَامِضًا فِي النَّاسِ لَا يُشَارُ إِلَيْهِ بِالْأَصَابِعِ عَجَّلْتُ مَنِيَّتَهُ وَقَلَّ تُرَاثُهُ وَقَلَّتْ بَوَاكِيهِ ". قَالَ الْإِمَامُ أَحْمَدُ: " وَقَدْ رَوَيْنَا فِي ذَمِّ الرِّيَاءِ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا مَا "
