أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ،
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ يَزِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنِ اللَّعِبِ بِالشِّطْرَنْجِ، فَقَالَ يَزِيدُ: " لَوْ مَرَرْتَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ يَلْعَبُونَ بِالشِّطْرَنْجِ مَا سَلَّمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ "
