machine translationMuslim narrated it from Abū Bakr, from Sufyān. And we have narrated from Ḥammād b. Salamah, from Thābit, from Anas b. Mālik: that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he ate food, would lick his three fingers, and he said: "If a morsel of one of you falls, let him remove the dirt from it and eat it, and not leave it for the Devil." And he commanded us to wipe the dish clean, and said: "None of you knows in which part of his food he will be blessed."
