وَأَنْشَدَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ، أَنْشَدَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الصَّفَارُ، أَنْشَدَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الدُّنْيَا، أَنْشَدَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ:
" [البحر الطويل] أَرَى كُلَّ قَوْمٍ يَحْفَظُونَ حَرِيمَهُمْ... وَلَيْسَ لِأَصْحَابِ النَّبِيذِ حَرِيمُ إِذَا جِئْتَهُمْ حَيَّوْكَ أَلْفًا وَرَحَّبُوا... وَإِنْ غِبْتَ عَنْهُمْ سَاعَةً فَذِمِيمُ أَخَاهُمُ إِذَا مَا دَارَتِ الْكَأْسُ بَيْنَهُمْ... وَكُلُّ رَثِّ الْوِصَالِ يَقُومُ فَهَذَا ثَنَائِي لَمْ أَقُلْ بِجَهَالَةٍ... وَلَكِنَّنِي بِالْفَاسِقِينَ عَلِيمُ"
