أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا عَطَاءُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْخِفَافُ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،
قَالَ: قُتِلَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ قَتِيلٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، لَمْ يُعْلَمْ مَنْ قَتَلَهُ، فَصَعِدَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْمِنْبَرَ فَقَالَ: " أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، قُتِلَ قَتِيلٌ وَأَنَا فِيكُمْ، وَلَا يُعْلَمُ مَنْ قَتَلَهُ، لَوِ اجْتَمَعَ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ عَلَى قَتْلِ امْرِئٍ لَعَذَّبَهُمُ اللهُ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَفْعَلَ مَا يَشَاءُ "
