أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي نَمْلَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَا نَمْلَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ،
أَنَّهُ بَيْنَا هُوَ جَالِسٌ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ، وَمُرَّ بِجَنَازَةٍ، فَقَالَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ هَلْ تَكَلَّمُ هَذِهِ الْجَنَازَةُ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " اللهُ أَعْلَمُ " فَقَالَ الْيَهُودُ: إِنَّهَا تَتَكَلَّمُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " مَا حَدَّثَكُمْ فَلَا تُصَدِّقُوهُمْ وَلَا تُكَذِّبُوهُمْ، وَقُولُوا: آمَنَّا بِاللهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ بَاطِلًا لَمْ تُصَدِّقُوهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ حَقًّا لَمْ تُكَذِّبُوهُ "
