أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ،
قَالَ: دَخَلَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِكَتَابٍ فِيهِ مَوَاضِعُ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ، فَقَالَ: هَذِهِ كُتُبٌ أَصَبْتُهَا مَعَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ أَعْرِضُهَا عَلَيْكَ، فَتَغَيَّرَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ تَغَيُّرًا شَدِيدًا لَمْ أَرَ مِثْلَهُ قَطُّ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ لِعُمَرَ: أَمَا تَرَى وَجْهَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: رَضِيتُ بِاللهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا، فَسُرِّيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " لَوْ نَزَلَ مُوسَى فَاتَّبَعْتُمُوهُ وَتَرَكْتُمُونِي لَضَلَلْتُمْ، أَنَا حَظُّكُمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَأَنْتُمْ حَظِّي مِنَ الْأُمَمِ "
