قَالَ: وَنا الْغَلَابِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ الْحَنَفِيُّ،
قَالَ: ذَاكَرْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مُسْلِمٍ الطَّائِفِيَّ فُضُولَ النَّظَرِ، فَقَالَ: مَا أَدْرِي غَيْرَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكٍ حَدَّثَنِي، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ مُجَاهِدٍ: " أَنَّهُمْ بَنَوْا غُرْفَةً فِي دَارِهِمْ مُقَابِلَ مَنْ دَخَلَ مِنْ بَابِ الدَّارِ، فَمَكَثَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً أَوْ أَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً فَرَفَعَ أَبِي رَأْسَهُ، فَقَالَ: مَتَى أَحْدَثْتُمْ هَذِهِ الْغُرْفَةَ "
