أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّازِيَّ
قَالَ: كَتَبْتُ مِنْ كِتَابِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ وَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ مِنْ كَلَامِ شَاهٍ: " عَلَامَةُ الْمَحَبَّةِ: الرِّضَا عَنْهُ فِي الْمَكْرُوهِ، وَحُسْنُ الظَّنِّ بِهِ فِي الْمَجْهُودِ، وَالتَّحْسِينُ لِاخْتِيَارِهِ فِي الْمَحْذُورِ "
