أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ، نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، نا ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، نا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ:
أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ لِإِنْسَانٍ: " إِنَّكَ فِي زَمَانٍ قَلِيلٍ قُرَّاؤُهُ، كَثِيرٌ فُقَهَاؤُهُ، يُحْفَظُ فِيهِ حُدُودُ الْقُرْآنِ، وَيُضَيَّعُ فِيهِ حُرُوفُهُ، قَلِيلٌ مَنْ يَسْأَلُ، كَثِيرٌ مَنْ يُعْطِي، يُطِيلُونَ الصَّلَاةَ فِيهِ، وَيَقْصِرُونَ فِيهِ الْخُطْبَةَ، يُبْدُونَ فِيهِ بِأَعْمَالِهِمْ قَبْلَ أَهْوَائِهِمْ، وَسَيَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ كَثِيرٌ قُرَّاؤُهُ، قَلِيلٌ فُقَهَاؤُهُ، يُحْفَظُ فِيهِ حُرُوفُ الْقُرْآنِ، وَيُضَيَّعُ حُدُودُهُ كَثِيرٌ مَنْ يَسْأَلُ، قَلِيلٌ مَنْ يُعْطِي يُطِيلُونَ فِيهِ الْخُطْبَةَ، وَيَقْصِرُونَ فِيهِ الصَّلَاةَ يُبْدُونَ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ قَبْلَ أَعْمَالِهِمْ "
