حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَطَّانُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عِيسَى الْهِلَالِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْقُرَشِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي صَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنِ الصُّمَيْتَةِ،
أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، يَقُولُ: " مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَلْيَمُتْ فَمَنْ مَاتَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا وَشَهِيدًا ".
