أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ أَوْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ،
قَالَ: " لَمَّا افْتَتَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَكَّةَ قُلْتُ: لَأَلْبِسَنَّ ثِيَابِي وَلَأَنْظُرَنَّ كَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، وَكَانَتْ دَارِي عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ فَانْطَلَقْتُ فَوَافَقْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَةِ هُوَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ، وَقَدِ اسْتَلَمُوا الْبَيْتَ مِنَ الْبَابِ إِلَى الْحَطِيمِ، وَقَدْ وَضَعُوا خُدُودَهُمْ عَلَى الْبَيْتِ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَسَطُهُمْ هَكَذَا "
