أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ،
قَالَ: خَرَجْتُ يَوْمًا أَمْشِي فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَظَنَنْتُهُ يُرِيدُ حَاجَةً فَعَارَضْتُهُ، حَتَّى رَآنِي فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ فَأَتَيْتُهُ، فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَانْطَلَقْنَا نَمْشِي جَمِيعًا، فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا يُصَلِّي يُكْثِرُ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " تَرَاهُ مُرَائِيًا؟ "، قُلْتُ: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، فَأَرْسَلَ يَدِي، فَقَالَ: " عَلَيْكُمْ هَدْيًا قَاصِدًا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ يُشَادَّ هَذَا الدِّينَ يَغْلِبَهُ "
