أَخْبَرَنَا السَّيِّدُ أَبُو مَنْصُورٍ الْظُّفُرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ زِبَارَةَ الْعَلَوِيُّ فِيمَا قَرَأْتُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَصْلِهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ دُحَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُسْلِمُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْقُرَشِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَخْبَرَهُ:
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، أَوْ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّوْمِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَصُومُ الدَّهْرَ كُلَّهُ فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ؟، ثُمَّ سَأَلَهُ الثَّانِيَةَ فَسَكَتَ، ثُمَّ سَأَلَهُ الثَّالِثَةَ، فَقَالَ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ أَصُومُ الدَّهْرَ كُلَّهُ؟، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ: " مَنِ السَّائِلِ عَنِ الصَّوْمِ؟ "، فَقَالَ: أَنَا يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّ لِأَهْلِكَ عَلَيْكَ حَقًّا، صُمْ رَمَضَانَ وَالَّذِي يَلِيهِ، وَكُلَّ أَرْبِعَاءَ وَخَمِيسٍ فَإِذَا أَنْتَ قَدْ صُمْتَ الدَّهْرَ ". هَكَذَا قَالَ عَنْهُمَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، وَقِيلَ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ

Fast Ramadan and the month that follows it, and every Wednesday and Thursday, and then you will have fasted all of time." Thus Muslim b. ʿUbaydillāh said from the two of them, and it was said that from one of them it is ʿUbaydullāh b. Muslim.
