أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَعْرُوفِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَهْلٍ الْإِسْفَرَائِينِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْحَذَّاءُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْنُ بْنُ أَبِي شَدَّادٍ،
أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ غَالِبٍ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِائَةَ رَكْعَةٍ، ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُ فَيَقُولُ: " لِهَذَا خُلِقْنَا، وَبِهَذَا أُمِرْنَا، يُوشِكُ أَوْلِيَاءُ اللهِ أَنْ يُكْفُوا وَيُحْمَدُوا "
