وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ، حدثنا ابْنُ أَبِي الدُّنْيَا، حَدَّثَنِي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَمَانٍ
قَالَ: قَالَ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ: " مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ حِسَابِي جُعِلَ إِلَى وَالِدِي رَبِّي خَيْرٌ لِي مِنْ وَالِدِي " قَالَ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ: " وَقَدْ رُوِيَ في مَعْنَاهُ حَدِيثٌ مُسْنَدٌ لَكِنَّهُ يُشْبِهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ مَوْضُوعًا، فَلَمْ أُجْسَرْ عَلَى نَقْلِهِ، ثُمَّ إِنِّي نَقَلْتُهُ لِشُهْرَتِهِ بَيْنَ الْمُذْكِرِينَ وَأَنَا أَبْرَأُ مِنْ عَهْدِهِ "
