أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ، حدثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّعْرَانِيُّ، حدثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حدثنا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنا حُصَيْنٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،
قَالَ: " أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ الْعُلْيَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا جُمْلَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ، ثُمَّ فُرِّقَ فِي السِّنِينَ، قَالَ: وَتَلَا الْآيَةَ {فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِمَوَاقِعِ النُّجُومِ} [الواقعة: 75] قَالَ: نُزِّلَ مُتَفَرِّقًا "
