أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، حدثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،
أَنَّ مُعَاذًا، قَالَ: كَيْفَ تَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ يَا أَبَا مُوسَى؟ قَالَ: أَتَفَوَّقُهُ تَفَوُّقًا، قَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى: كَيْفَ تَقْرَأُ يَا مُعَاذُ؟ قَالَ: " أَنَامُ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ لِأَسْتَعِينَ بِهِ عَلَى آخِرِهِ، وَإِنِّي لَأَرْجُو مِنَ الْأَجْرِ فِي نَوْمَتِي مَا أَرْجُو مِنَ الْأَجْرِ فِي قِيَامِي "
