That the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever recites the Qur'an and stands with it through the hours of the night and the day, treating as lawful what it makes lawful and as forbidden what it forbids, Allah will mingle it with his flesh and blood, and make him a companion of the noble, righteous scribes (angels). And when the Day of Resurrection comes, the Qur'an will be an advocate for him, and it will say: 'My Lord, every worker in the world takes the reward of his work from the world, except so-and-so, who used to stand for my sake through the hours of the night and the day, treating as lawful what I make lawful and as forbidden what I forbid.' Then it will say: 'My Lord, grant him.' So Allah will crown him with the crown of sovereignty and clothe him in garments of honor, then say: 'Are you pleased?' It will say: 'My Lord, I desire for him something better than this.' So Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will give him sovereignty in his right hand and eternity in his left, then it will be said to him: 'Are you pleased?' He will say: 'Yes, my Lord.' And whoever takes it up after he has grown old, and takes it up while it keeps slipping away from him, Allah will give him his reward twice."
