{اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ} [al-Fātiḥah: 6] He said: "The Book of Allah, Mighty and Majestic." Al-Bayhaqī, may Allah have mercy on him, said: And we have narrated in the authentic hadith, from Zayd b. Arqam, from the Prophet ﷺ, that he said in a sermon he delivered: "I am leaving among you the two weighty things, the first of which is the Book of Allah, in which there is guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and take to it." So he urged and encouraged (them) toward it. And in another narration: "The Book of Allah is the rope of Allah; whoever follows it is upon guidance, and whoever abandons it is upon misguidance."
