أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْخَضِرِ الشَّافِعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْغُسَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الزُّهْرِيُّ، حدثنا عَمِّي، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ،
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَلَا: {قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ} [فصلت: 3]، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " أُلْهِمَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ هَذَا اللِّسَانَ إِلْهَامًا " وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ الثَّابِتِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، وَأَيُّوبَ يَزِيدُ أَحَدُهُمَا عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قِصَّةِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَزَمْزَمَ، وَنُزُولِ قَوْمِ جُرْهُمٍ فِي أَسْفَلِ مَكَّةَ، قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " فَأَلْقَى ذَلِكَ أُمَّ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، وَهِيَ تُحِبُّ الْأُنْسَ فَنَزَلُوا معهَا حَتَّى كَانَ بِهَا أَهْلُ أبيات مِنْهُمْ، وَشَبَّ الْغُلَامُ - يَعْنِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَتَعلَّمَ الْعَرَبِيَّةَ مِنْهُمْ، وأَنْفَسَهُمْ وَأَعْجَبَهُمْ، فَلَمَّا أَدْرَكَ زَوَّجُوهُ امْرَأَةً مِنْهُمْ "
