أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، حدثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حدثنا يَعْقُوبُ، حدثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، أخبرنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، حدثنا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، حدثنا الْحَسَنُ
فَذَكَرَهُ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ بَابَنُوسَ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ ؓ، عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَتْ: " اقْرَأْ سُورَةَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ "، فَقَرَأَ حَتَّى بَلَغَ الْعَشْرَ فَقَالَتْ: " هَكَذَا كَانَ خُلُقُهُ " وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَتْ: " كَانَ خُلُقُهُ الْقُرْآنَ، يَرْضَى لِرِضَاهُ وَيَسْخَطُ لِسَخَطِهِ "
