machine translationMuslim narrated it in the Ṣaḥīḥ, from Zunayj. Likewise al-Zuhrī said, from ʿUrwah, from ʿĀ'ishah, and ʿAmr b. Dīnār and Abū Ḥamzah, from Ibn ʿAbbās. Ibn ʿAbbās said in their two narrations: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed in Mecca for thirteen years. ʿAmmār b. Abī ʿAmmār said, from Ibn ʿAbbās: fifteen years. "The narration of Abū Ḥamzah and ʿAmr is more likely to be the preserved one (maḥfūẓ)."
