أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّلَمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ شَاهِينَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الزَّيْنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صُدْرَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ،
قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو قِلَابَةَ: يَا أَيُّوبُ احْفَظْ عَنِّي ثَلَاثَ خِصَالٍ: " إِيَّاكَ وَأَبْوَابَ السُّلْطَانِ، وَإِيَّاكَ وَمَجَالِسَ أَصْحَابِ الْأَهْوَاءِ، وَالْزَمْ سَوْقَكَ، فَإِنَّ الْغِنَى مِنَ الْعَافِيَةِ "
