أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُشْكَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَيْسِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّيْمِيُّ الْقَاضِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ ؓ،
قَالَ: " دَيْنُكَ لِمَعَادِكَ، وَدِرْهَمُكَ لِمَعَاشِكَ، وَلَا خَيْرَ فِي أَمْرٍ بِلَا دِرْهَمٍ "
