أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجُرْجَانِيَّ الْوَاعِظَ، يَقُولُ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْبَاغَنْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَوَارِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سُلَيْمَانَ الدَّارَانِيَّ، - وَوَقَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ لَا يَرَانِي فَسَمِعْتُهُ -
يَقُولُ: " لَئِنْ طَالَبْتَنِي بِذُنُوبِي لَأُطَالِبَنَّكَ بِعَفْوِكَ، وَلَئِنْ طَالَبْتَنِي بِتَوْبَتِي لَأُطَالِبَنَّكَ بِسَخَائِكَ، وَلَئِنْ أَدْخَلْتَنِي النَّارَ لَأُخْبِرَنَّ أَهْلَ النَّارِ أَنِّي أُحِبُّكَ "
