أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ، أَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُنِيرٍ الْمَطِيرِيُّ، نَا عُمَرُ بْنُ شَبَّةَ، نَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، نَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " السَّخَاءُ شَجَرَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، فَمَنْ كَانَ سَخِيًّا أَخَذَ بِغُصْنٍ مِنْهَا، فَلَمْ يَتْرُكْهُ الْغُصْنُ حَتَّى يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ، وَالشُّحُّ شَجَرَةٌ فِي النَّارِ، فَمَنْ كَانَ شَحِيحًا أَخَذَ بِغُصْنٍ مِنْهَا، فَلَمْ يَتْرُكْهُ الْغُصْنُ حَتَّى يُدْخِلَهُ النَّارَ "
