أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بُشْرَانَ، نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ، نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي الدُّنْيَا، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، نَا مِسْكِينُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصُّوفِيُّ، نَا الْمُتَوَكِّلُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ الْعَابِدُ،
قَالَ: قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَدْهَمَ: " الزُّهْدُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَصْنَافٍ: زُهْدُ فَرْضٍ، وَزُهْدُ فَضْلٍ، وَزُهْدُ سَلَامَةٍ، فَالزُّهْدُ الْفَرْضُ الزُّهْدُ فِي الْحَرَامِ، وَالزُّهْدُ الْفَضْلِ الزُّهْدُ فِي الْحَلَالِ، وَالزُّهْدُ السَّلَامَةُ الزُّهْدُ فِي الشُّبُهَاتِ "
