أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ،
قَالَ: قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نَكُونُ عِنْدَكَ عَلَى الْحَالِ، فَإِذَا فَارَقْنَاكَ كُنَّا عَلَى غَيْرِهَا، فَنَخَافُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ذَلِكَ نِفَاقًا قَالَ: " كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ وَرَبَّكُمْ؟ " قَالُوا: اللهُ رَبُّنَا فِي السِّرِّ وَالْعَلَانِيَةِ، قَالَ: " كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ وَنَبِيَّكُمْ؟ " قَالُوا أَنْتَ نَبِيُّنَا فِي السِّرِّ وَالْعَلَانِيَةِ قَالَ: " لَيْسَ ذَلِكُمُ النِّفَاقَ "
