The Excellence and Obligation of the Payment of Zakat
- وعن جرير بن عبد الله، رضي الله عنه، قال: بايعت النبي، صلى الله عليه وسلم، على إقام الصلاة، وإيتاء الزكاة، والنصح لكل مسلم. ((متفق عليه)).
Translation
Jarir bin 'Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I pledged allegiance to the Prophet (PBUH) to establish Salat, to pay the Zakat and to have the welfare of every Muslim at heart. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
