Desirability of offering Nawfil (Voluntary or Optional) Prayers at Home

- وعن جابر رضي الله عنه قال:

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إذا قضى أحدكم صلاته في مسجده، فليجعل لبيته نصيبًا من صلاته، فإن الله جاعل في بيته صلاته خيرًا".

Translation

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him)reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "When you have finished your (Fard) Salat (prayer) in the mosque, you should observe some of your (Sunnah and Nawafil) Salat at home; Allah will bless your homes because of your Salat (in your homes)." [Muslim]
