Quran At-Tur 52:26
قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبۡلُ فِيٓ أَهۡلِنَا مُشۡفِقِينَ ٢٦
Translation
They will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of displeasing Allāh].
