Selling Fruits Before Their Condition Is Known

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ وَأَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

نَهَى عَنِ الْمُخَابَرَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَبَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يُطْعَمَ إِلاَّ الْعَرَايَا

Translation

the Prophet forbade Mukhabarah, Muzabanah and Muhaqalah, and selling fruits until they were fit to eat, except in the case f 'Aray.
