أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبَانَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَامٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَمْلَأُ الْمِيزَانَ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ تَمْلَأُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ» خَالَفَهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَامٍ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَخِيهِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَامٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غُنْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “'Praise be to Allah' fills the balance, and 'there is no god but Allah and Allah is most great' fills what is between the sky and the earth.” Mu'awiyah b. Sallam contradicted him; he narrated it from his brother Zayd, from Abu Sallam, from Abd al-Rahman b. Ghunm, from Abu Malik.
