أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ مَنْ قَالَ

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهَا عَشْرًا وَمَنْ قَالَهَا عَشْرًا كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهَا مِائَةً وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِائَةً كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهَا أَلْفًا وَمَنْ زَادَ زَادَ اللهُ لَهُ وَمَنِ اسْتَغْفَرَ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَهُ رَفَعَهُ مَطَرُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ الْوَرَّاقُ

✧ “Glory be to Allah and with His praise” - Allah writes for him ten (good deeds) for it; and whoever says it ten times, Allah writes for him a hundred for it; and whoever says it a hundred times, Allah writes for him a thousand for it; and whoever increases, Allah increases for him; and whoever seeks forgiveness, Allah forgives him. Matar b. Tahman al-Warraq raised it (to the Prophet).
